I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. I majored in Chinese literature at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei, and later majored in teaching Chinese as a foreign language for a master’s degree at National Taiwan Normal University. I am interested in Chinese literature and classical poetry. In my master’s thesis, I researched Tang poetry textbook for foreigners.
I worked as a Mandarin teacher in a junior high school in Taiwan for two years. I have a Taiwanese teacher’s certificate and experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Taiwan.
From September 2022 to June 2023, I served as a Chinese teacher for first-year undergraduate students in the Chinese Department at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic.”
